Once in a ‘blue moon’……

Quite creepy….the Ghost Moon Orchestra CD’s arrived on a full moon and, as the tour begins tonight in Holmfirth it is not only a full moon but a ‘Blue’ moon….

It bodes well we hope…

  1. A great omen meaning you will have the best of luck with all the gigs. Looking forward to seeing you in the acoustic nightmare of the O2 in Islington tonight, and then again in the complete opposite, the wonderful Stables (Milton Keynes) in December.

  3. Wonderful gig at the O2 Academy in Islington. Thankyou to them for slaving away in the heat for us for nearly 3 hours. What a show! Despite the sound properties of the room and a stand-in sound man, the music came over beautifully. I have listened many times to the GMO special edition, but the live gig took it to a new level – the two compliment each other in a way I’ve not experienced with any other band (usually it is just a rehash of material one already has on the album, and at the O2, rarely as good, but MA have broken that taboo). The harmonies are the best I’ve ever heard from the band – they were always excellent, but you have taken them to a new level!
Good luck on the continent, and I’ll catch you again when you come back to Blighty.

  4. Thanks MA. A truly awesome gig last at the O2, despite a few sound gremlins. Roll on Bath and then The Brook! Also good to catch up with ‘tractor boy’ Nigel, from the GMO release party in May.

Great night at the O2 Islington but I feel that you could do with dropping some of the old favourites and bringing in some new old songs.

thanks for the brill gig at the robin last night, there where a few unexpected sound probs but this in no shape or form effected the playing from all on stage. i think theres an even greater energy feel on this tour, n it ll only get better. olivas vocals have become richer n much more maturera. n as always u guys played ya heart n souls out. the whole set was gr8 but for me special mention has to go to never the rainbow which i aint heared in ages. this much more energised version just blew me away. hope the tour abroard goes well. will deffenetly be coming bk to the robin in december.

Loved hearing the new album live at Holmfirth. Reckon the live DVD should be called ‘the dutch and the orchestra’ 🙂
