HRH, Heroes and tour…..

Thank you to all who came to HRH Festival in North Wales last weekend. It was an amazing place and a wonderful crowd. As you may know – 15 minutes before Mostly Autumn were due to play, Alex fell from the drum riser whilst setting up his drums. He looked ghastly and was holding his hand in pain and we thought the worst!! A visit from the on- site medics confirmed it didn’t look good, but, with painkillers, an ice pack and adrenalin ,  Alex said he would go on – one handed!! We cannot say enough about his bravery and commitment – both to Mostly Autumn and to the audience – what a hero! So, with a few brain racking set changes from Bryan – MA went on – and performed – our heartfelt thanks to Alex! On returning home and having his hand x-rayed – it was  as suspected, broken and he was rushed in for an operation to have a wire fitted. image Alex’s injury means he’ll be out of action for at least a month so we have made the very difficult decision to re-arrange the first two dates of the tour:- 10th April – Leicester Y 11th April – The Box – Crewe We do not have definite replacement dates yet but will let you know as soon as possible. Fibbers on 2nd May will definitely happen – and all following dates will be as scheduled. thanks for your understanding.
