Posted in News on May 23, 2018 by manewss

Kicking off Mostly Autumn summer dates at the amazing Robin 2 in Wolverhampton on 3rd June followed by the Islington O2 Academy on 8th then it’s The Wharf in Tavistock on 23rd June followed by a new one – The Fleece in Bristol – looks like a great venue.

So looking forward to seeing you all – hope you can make one (or more).  Henry is settling in very well – great to have him on board.

Mostly Autumn are sad to announce that due to time constraints, Alex Cromarty has made the decision to retire from Mostly Autumn. It has been nothing but an absolute pleasure to share our time with Alex who is undoubtedly a huge musical talent in all areas and a superb character to have around. We sincerely wish him all the best for the future in whatever he does and we will obviously remain close friends.
We are delighted to announce however, that the drumming excellence of Henry Rogers will be injected into the Mostly Autumn sound and we wholeheartedly welcome Henry on board. Henry is a hugely accomplished live and session player who has also known and loved Mostly Autumn for some years.

With the sadness of the end of another era comes the excitement of a new one ,  Henry’s first show will be in York at The Crescent on Sunday 25th March.

In April we travel to Germany to The Artrock Festival in Reichenbach to play on April 7th.  Really looking forward to this – it’s beautiful – then on to the lovely NL, to Helmond and the Cacao Fabriek on 8th April.

New Dates….

Posted in News on January 28, 2018 by manewss

Great to announce a few dates to start this year off – more to come but first we’re proud to be asked to play at the Classic Rock Society awards night on 3rd March 2018 – usually a brilliant night.  We can’t praise this wonderful society enough.

Then we’re happy to be playing a home town gig at The Crescent in York on Sunday 25th March 2018

On 7th April we’re going to Germany to play at the Artrock Festival V1 in Reichenberg – a beautiful place and wonderful festival.

Keep an eye on live dates on the website – there’s more to come..

Happy New Year……

Hope you all had a lovely festive period and we wish everybody the best 2018 can bring and look forward to a great one!

We will be seeing some of you – hopefully – on Sunday (7th January) for the rearranged Robin 2 date – postponed because of the snow in December.  It’s an afternoon gig starting at 1pm so plenty of time to get home afterwards.  We’re looking forward to this, it’s not often there’s a gig so early in the new year and, though we’ve done afternoon gigs in NL with great success, it’ll be interesting to see how it goes here.

Look forward to seeing you.

We are so sorry but due to the severe weather conditions tonight’s gig at the Robin 2 has to be cancelled.
It is, however, re-arranged for Sunday 7th January afternoon – 1pm start.
Really hope those of you who were coming can make the new date.

It’s nearly Christmas……

A fantastic gig at The Lion Inn, Blakey on Tuesday – so enjoyed it, it’s beginning to feel like Christmas. Thanks to Marc Atkinson who joined us too, and, of course Paul Crossland and all the Lion Inn staff who were amazing.  Thanks also to everyone who came – another sold out Blakey night.

Now looking forward to The Met, Bury on Saturday and then the incomparable Robin 2, Bilston on Sunday
