Happy New Year……

Posted in Uncategorized on January 3, 2018 by manewss

Hope you all had a lovely festive period and we wish everybody the best 2018 can bring and look forward to a great one!

We will be seeing some of you – hopefully – on Sunday (7th January) for the rearranged Robin 2 date – postponed because of the snow in December.  It’s an afternoon gig starting at 1pm so plenty of time to get home afterwards.  We’re looking forward to this, it’s not often there’s a gig so early in the new year and, though we’ve done afternoon gigs in NL with great success, it’ll be interesting to see how it goes here.

Look forward to seeing you.

We are so sorry but due to the severe weather conditions tonight’s gig at the Robin 2 has to be cancelled.
It is, however, re-arranged for Sunday 7th January afternoon – 1pm start.
Really hope those of you who were coming can make the new date.

It’s nearly Christmas……

A fantastic gig at The Lion Inn, Blakey on Tuesday – so enjoyed it, it’s beginning to feel like Christmas. Thanks to Marc Atkinson who joined us too, and, of course Paul Crossland and all the Lion Inn staff who were amazing.  Thanks also to everyone who came – another sold out Blakey night.

Now looking forward to The Met, Bury on Saturday and then the incomparable Robin 2, Bilston on Sunday

Music by Mostly Autumn and a bit of Christmas jollity at The Lion Inn, Blakey Ridge, North York Moors YO62 7LQ

We’re so excited to be back at the Lion Inn again after the success of the 2016 Christmas party, it will be, as usual, an amazing night of Mostly Autumn and CHRISTMAS – It will also be an opportunity to socialise with the band in their favourite pub and spiritual home after the gig.

For those of you who don’t know, The Lion Inn is a remote 16th Century inn at the highest point of the North York Moors. It is a very special place for Bryan and the band and their close connection goes back many, many years. For more information visit the website at www.lionblakey.co.uk where you will also find links to the Blakey Music Facebook page.

The concert room is very intimate so tickets for Mostly Autumn are limited – Price – £20

Tickets are only available on a first-come-first-served basis by e mailing Paul at  info@lionblakey.co.uk  with details of how many tickets you require. Please title your email “Mostly Christmas” and Paul will get back to you with details of how to pay etc.

(Unfortunately we can’t sell tickets by phone so please don’t phone the Lion Inn)

Free camping in tents or camper vans (sorry, no caravans)

Thanks so much to Paul for bringing back Blakey music  which regularly hosts some great bands and is well worth looking into.

Looking forward to seeing you there.
